Here we are in the beautiful setting of the Château de Tourreau for this editorial imagined as a holiday, a resourcing parenthesis in this period when we all dream of freedom and evasion.
For this intimate escapade in the South of France, the atmosphere is ‘wild’ and glamorous, with an exotic touch. The bright and sunny colour palette, based on shades of blue, yellow, pinkish-beige and white, harmonises with the elegance of the Château. The bold floral varieties bring originality to the project: large bamboo canes, beautiful branches of ‘Oncidium Orchids’, gorgeous peonies from a producer in the Var, double tulips, ranunculus, broom and sweet peas.
The façade of the Château was used as a backdrop for the ceremony where a 5m double floral arch was created around the door. The dinner table, with its fresh, gourmet floral display, is decorated with hand-painted plates made by a French artist. The table is set in the park’s long driveway, so that all the guests can enjoy the view. The next day’s brunch around the grey marble pool allows our fashionable couple – dressed by the great French fashion houses, Rives Paris for him and Rime Arodaky for her – to extend the experience in this bubble of softness.
