I think that the most beautiful way to celebrate your wedding is to imagine it as a getaway with your beloved ones, it creates unforgettable and wonderful memories! This is how I imagined this project of an intimate wedding in Provence. I wanted to create a cocoon of softness and wellness.
The color palette is bright and fresh, almost spring-like (branches with very green foliage from the blossoming trees): soft greens, shades of white, yellow, peach and powder pink. The floral is worked in profusion, for a poetic and modern look. The ceremony decor is a contemporary interpretation of a flowery field, with light flowers dancing in the wind, and a large vow exchange décor, a backdrop that harmonises with the beautiful façade of the Château.
The table was designed as a jewel case, with a ceiling of flowers and lustres, for an airy and bucolic effect. ‘Lettre à Elise Events’ has worked with springtime and elegant varieties of flowers, in keeping with the venue: mainly hydrangea – which is also used for other handcrafted items: dresses, jewelry, table runner, stationery, wedding cake… – peonies and branches of Viburnum ‘Boule de neige’.
The Provençal notes of an al fresco dinner, but modernized, combined with the elegance and delicacy of the craft. I like to bring a unique identity to the projects and combine the talents of the craftsmen for a bespoke result. The plates were created by a French ceramist ‘Barbara Studio’ and were calligraphed by ‘Nice Plume’ on the day of the shoot, as were the candles (locally produced) and the ribbon for the bridal bouquet. She also drew the hydrangea motifs on the table runner one by one.
